The New Nintendo 3DS XL is coming to the US on February 13th. It sports a faster processor that some new games will support and will be available in a Black or Red model. The system also has improved controls with two more shoulder buttons and a C-Stick for your right thumb.
Lots of Nintendo release dates were announced as well. Zelda: Majora's Mask for 3DS, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will launch alongside the new 3DS on February 13th. Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars on March 5th. Mario Party 10 on March 20th. Xenoblade Chronicles 3D in April and Splatoon in May. There will also be a new Rhythm Heaven coming to the 3DS at some point in 2015.
Nintendo is also going to start doing Cross Buy, where you get both the 3DS and Wii U version for one price, starting with Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars.
Gamestop's sales were $2.9 billion over the holiday season. This was lower than last year but higher than expected as their stock performed very well after the announcement.
Humble Bundle is changing the way they handle Steam Key redemption. Valve is stopping support for the OAuth one click redemption so keys will have to be redeemed manually again.
